Fine for Lack of Vibration Assessment

A builder (CJ Gowing) has been prosecuted by the HSE and fined £45,000 for failing to protect staff from vibration risks after the worker developed carpal tunnel syndrome. The worker had used concrete breakers for long periods of time and the company had not recognised the need for health surveillance.
