Managing Safely is a basic course in health and safety designed to give managers an understanding of how to deal with health and safety issues in the workplace, and make them aware of their responsibilities.

IOSH Working Safely is a basic introductory course to enable workers to contribute to health and safety in the workplace and to make them aware of their responsibilities.
Duration 1 day.

The course aims to provide senior executives of organisations with an understanding of their health and safety role and how this should influence their strategic thinking and holistic risk management systems / procedures.

- Health and safety leadership training

- NEBOSH General Certificate / International General Certificate.
The NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety is the most widely held health and safety qualification of its kind in the UK.
It is designed to provide an appropriate breadth of underpinning knowledge for non-specialists in occupational health and safety working in the UK, to enable them to discharge more effectively their organisational duties or functions with respect to workplace health and safety.
Duration 10 days.
The NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety is the highest level of NEBOSH qualification recognised worldwide. It is for aspiring health and safety professionals who want to develop their career and progress to strategic decision making roles.
It provides successful delegates with the academic requirements for the coveted Chartered Membership of the Institute of Occupational Health and Safety (CMIOSH). Success in this qualification ensures a positive progression for your life long career.
Duration: 6 weeks over 11 months plus 3 days for exams
- NEBOSH Technical Certificate in Oil and Gas
The NEBOSH Technical Certificate in Oil and Gas Process Safety covers the principles of process safety management in the oil and gas industries and will benefit oil and gas companies working to international standards who are seeking to implement effective safety and process safety management across all areas of their operation.
The course is suitable for managers, supervisors, safety staff, and safety representatives with safety responsibilities in the oil and gas industry, both within and outside the UK, and is designed to provide a sound breadth of underpinning knowledge that enables them to manage oil and gas operational risks effectively. The syllabus takes a risk management approach based on best practice and international industry standards and management systems, enabling delegates to effectively discharge workplace safety responsibilities both onshore and offshore.
Duration 10 days.
- IEMA Associate Certificate in Environmental Management
The IEMA Associate Certificate course covers all the areas of knowledge an individual requires to become an Associate IEMA member. It is designed to raise the professional competence of environmental practitioners, covering environmental sustainability, assessment, interpretation and management of environmental performance and environmental legislation.
Duration 10 days.
Risk specific training includes accredited sessions but is not limited to:
- Asbestos awareness (Duration 1 day)
- Fire safety (Duration 1 day)
- Legionella awareness (Duration 1 day)
- Risk assessment (Duration 2 days plus further onsite coaching if required)
- Accident investigation skills (Duration 2 days)
- Manual handling (Duration 1 day)
- COSHH awareness (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) – (Duration 1 day)
- DSEAR (Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres) – (Duration 4 day)
- Noise awareness (Duration 1 day)
